Loans and Repayments
At times we all need to borrow extra cash - this may just be a small amount from friends or family for going out or buying new clothes - or you may need a large sum perhaps for a motorbike, a car or if you leave home.
When you borrow money from a money lender you should ALWAYS check the rate of interest and how much you will have to pay back in total. The first place you should go for a loan is your own bank, who should give you good advice and be able to work out what you can afford to borrow and how much you can afford to pay back and how often you can make the payments.
If your bank thinks you can’t afford the loan and don’t want to lend you the money, you MUST carefully consider if you are doing the right thing before going anywhere else.
